Check the weather using Clock Hub on Windows Phone 8.1

Somewhat similar to the HTC Hub, the new Clock Hub app in the Windows Phone Store can be pinned to a Live Tile in Windows Phone 8.1. Not only will it give you the correct time, the app also brings you the latest weather information from your current location. And if you don't care what it is like outside, or you're stuck inside all day, you have the option of removing the weather from the screen. Another option allows you to use 24 hour military time, if you so desire...

Its a joke how long it took Windows to even have a Time Tile, not to mention a live tile that doesn't have the 30 minute update restriction. On my Lumia 521 that is one of the most frustrating things. Every time I want to see live battery stats I actually have to go into the app because the tile is not accurate. And the the time I have to look at the very small clock at the top right.

check your setting, you are most likely on power saving mode. it used to happen to be when i had power saving mode on.
btw you should check out 8.1 update. it has new faster camera, notification bar, toggles, allows 3 column for tiles, new voice command, tons of new apps and many more things.
best part about these windows phone is they last 2 days.

I think its kind of useless because we have the same clock positioned at the upper right.

Yeah, it should be like the AOSP lockscreen where the statusbar clock is hidden when a clock widget is active.

I have glance that trumps any other clock or widget.. I just look at my untouched screen to see the time.

It reminds me of the clock tile from the HTC 8X and 8S.
