Check out the last few seconds of a OnePlus 5 television ad

0. phoneArena 18 Jun 2017, 07:45 posted on

With the OnePlus 5 due to be introduced on Tuesday during a live streaming feed, and then launched via a flash sale a couple of days later, Amazon India has started advertising the latest flagship killer on television. The last few seconds of a commercial for the device were recorded directly off of a television, which explains the poor quality of the clip...

Oneplus will also lose their creative name around the world after releasing this phone. It's a one to one copy of iPhone 7 Plus.

I fully agree. They sold us out, the whole never settle thing was just arouse, a marketing trick to get the Android purists on board.

And now that they are established, they have turned into another Chinese Oem trying to cash in on the "iPhone look" like Xiaomi etc.

The jokes on them though, the iPhones design is changing this year and the old bezel look is going to be so outdated.

It's over one plus have sold us out.

LOL Pakistan played some incredible cricket and shocked Pakistan itself. They were demolished by India in their first match and everyone wrote them off, but they got back up and now look, they are the ICC Champions.

Goes to show how no matter what you should never lose hope.

However India played some awesome cricket throughout the tournament, you have to give it to them, they deserved it just as much as us if not more.

Also the Indian captain seems like a really decent person, down to earth and immensely respectful, he wears his heart on his sleeve.

Was a pretty crazy match. Too bad the one plus 5 is a joke now.

Boohoo India defeated us in the first match due to bad performance in bowling by Wahab Riaz and Pakistan's batting has never been that strong and Ahmed Shahzad took care of the rest.
Yesterday Pakistan's batting tore India apart before they even got on the pitch for their innings. India was defeated not because of a fluke but persistence vs arrogance from the Indian team.

Aye, I've heard a fair bit of chatter about this lad/guy/man/fellow/mate/bloke (whatever you fancy calling him) from my various Indian friends...! I'm not personally aware of his work but if the chatter is anything to go by, then this man is probably the Steven Spielburg of "Bollywood" (Indian equivalent of good ol' Hollywood)...!
Speaking of Indians, what a terrible defeat India had to endure in the final by the hands of Pakistan...! Yeah... I mean, Aye, I love cricket too. A close Indian friend of mind got me into cricket and I was hooked right away...! It's like English version of Baseball...!
Anyhow, I'm positive that I'm going to witness TONS of Indians with LONG FACES tomorrow...!
Yes, they take this thing FAR TOO SERIOUSLY...! And considering the absolutely TERRIBLE defeat by 180 runs (HUGE!!!) I'm sure they'll remember it for years (How about decades, centuries or even eons?!!) to come...!
Nah! I'm just messing with my Indian fellows around here...!
Oh well,
G'Day!

I'm happy India lost...some of the fans, no...most of them were beginning to get real cocky!
And to top it, Hockey is India's national sport...and no one is doing anything to promote that. But hey, India won the hockey match.

And you misspelled his surname, damn!

Also that writer should know who is that man, not only it's disrespectful, it's also showing writer's lack of knowledge. He's not from India, very obvious thing anyway, doesn't mean he shouldn't know an iconic person like him. I know all them old people from Hollywood FFS, Mr. Bachchan did appear in Hollywood flick too, can't remember the name of the movie but in that Leo Da Caprio and Toby McGuire one...

Though if the author is American then all is pardoned. They know nothing.

Chill... Outside of India, you'll be hard pressed to find that only a few know about him.
There are bigger stars than him...and he's definitely not the star of the millennium, maybe in India he is.

I do know about him but that's about it... Not aware of his work at all...
Bollywood movies are just not my cup of tea with all those obnoxious and downright silly 'dance phases', poor to non-existent CGI and special effects and vintage plots mostly consist of either sheer patriotism (reminds me of propaganda movies from the third reich) or cheesy and old fashioned romance, which reminds you of old post world war two era Romeo and Juliet movies...!
Please do forgive my harsh views... It's just mild criticism, not hate...
Oh well...
G'Day!

Isn't he the father in law of ever so beautiful Aishwarya Rai? I heard he is one of the biggest star like SRK and I saw his pictures endorsed all kind of merchandises in India.

For all those triggerd Indians, the writer is not from India. So the fact that he doesn't know Amitabh Bachchan is perfectly fine. I'm from India and I know actors from only three countries - USA, UK and India. So I'll probably be referring any other actor as "a man" as well.

I've completely lost interest for the OP5 after seeing that big bezel and that too with a 1080p screen in 2017 in a "flagship device." I would've been happy with 1080p if it was RGB OLED.

But OnePlus chose the right spot to tease the OP5. This game is being watched by like 300-400 million people around the globe.

Yes writer is not from India, but not recognising such an iconic man just sums you up as stupid, he had time to find out who it was LMAO

the whole world knows bollywood by only three names - SRK, Deepika, Priyanaka. AB can be a better actor than these trio but certainly aren't as world famous as them. Get over your emotions you over-sensitive retard.

I would've clicked a picture but it's hardly a 10 second ad. It pretty much validates the iPhone-like design that was leaked last week. Disappointing but on the other hand I've always said that an iPhone running Android would be my 'Dream' phone. No complaints.
