It's not bad looking, but it's no spec master... then again, it is cheap... but the MotoG can be obtained for even less $$$

Yep, but waterproofing certainly costs extra, that's why this Kyocera isn't cheaper than the Moto G.

an old single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM-8655 processor, 512MB of RAM, 2GB rom, a 4GB MicroSD card pre-installed
At least it's waterproof, or else it would only sell at $60 or less.
