Certain evidence in Apple-Samsung case was skewed toward Apple

0. phoneArena 09 Oct 2012, 01:54 posted on

Recently released documents from the U.S. District Court that oversaw the Apple-Samsung patent trial suggest that some of the evidence might have been skewed to favor Apple; the latter decided to pick certain phrases from long quotes that backed its position...

The problem is that we as country have become disgustingly greedy, money outweighs everything, even justice. While I don't want to sound like a conspiracy freak, I wouldn't be surprised if Apple handed out some checks along the way in this one. The sad truth is that our once great nation is so corrupt even our candidates for office are both crooks.

Skewed? You mean like this article's picture, which shows an iPhone opened to its home screen, and the Galaxy phone opened to its app drawer?

I suppose I should give some credit, you at least showed a size difference, while most who show them side by side down scale them Galaxy to make them look more alike.

Of course the evidence was skewed. That's what lawyers do. If you're looking for ethical behavior, you don't look to corporate lawyers.

so obvious. like the president of a highly successful multinational conglomerate to ask his employees to blatantly copy something. shame on apple for blindsiding the entire world

Blame this on the lawyers on both sides - lawyers for apple doctored the evidence and the lawyers for Samsung did not catch it...for some odd reason....of course, Steve Jobs is all excited because his side cheated to win...

Sometimes I wonder when the lawyers talk about people mistakenly buying a Samsung phone thinking it was an iPhone due to the similar basic rectangular rounded corner design of all touchscreen phones, are they saying the consumers are so dumb that they cannot read what's printed on the phone or the box of the phone? And the jury actually agrees? The judge never even questioned this? Then I wonder who are the dumb ones. I think we need Judge Judy.

I said the same thing when the trial was happening. They basically say that people are to stupid to tell the difference between an iphone and anything else. Yet at the same time they want those stupid people to buy their product. I can understand if you only got a second or two to look at it to not be able to tell the difference, I've done that myself with devices used on TV or in movies. But when you go to buy a device, especially one that comes with a 2 year contract, that you don't just pick up the first things that looks remotely like what you want. The first time they power it up they'll see the Samsung logo instead of Apple's. And it's not like your stuck with it if you bought the wrong one. You've got 14 to 30 days to return it (depending on carrier).

If Apple really believes all these potential customers are that stupid, then maybe those stupid people shouldn't have a smartphone.

The same thing goes for the tablets. Apple lawyers holding the tablet from afar and Samsung lawyers cannot tell which is which. Hell, can you tell which LCD/LED TV brand it is if you stand from a distance when most flat screen TV looks the same, a black rectangle? And people may buy the tablet thinking it is an iPad when there is a Samsung logo on the tablet, no Apple logo on the back, Samsung logo that flashes at you on the screen when you power on for the first time, Samsung logo on the box, no home button etc.? Jesus, are consumers treated as intellectually challenged or illiterate?

Go figure.....Samsung, get decent lawyers who are hungry and desperate to earn a pay day and a name for themselves. is**te should compete by innovating rather than litigating but I guess iToy manufacturer cannot spell INNOVATION........Hahaha
