Centro gets a price cut
Palm has cut the price of the Centro, so an unlocked device is now available for $199. It is actually quite a decent price for a compact QWERTY smart phone with touch sensitive screen, especially if you can live with the lack of connectivity options (no Wi-Fi) and the mediocre camera. Check out our review for more information on the phone.

Palm Centro Specifications | Review

The unlocked Centro comes in three colors, poetically named “ruby”, “white glacier” and “cobalt”, which is just a nicer way to say red, white and blue. While we are not sure why Palm has decided on a price cut, we assume it´s something to do with making room for the incoming Pre units.
