Cellular South's HTC Hero gets its own new smartphone plan
With pre-orders of Cellular South's very own HTC Hero going for $100 after mail-in-rebates, there's also going to be a new smartphone plan offered with it. Such a powerful new Android device would require its very own prestigious plan – called the Smartphone Unlimited Plan. So for $80 per month, you'll be able to get unlimited talk, text, web, and email for your brand spanking new HTC Hero. It's considered a pretty good bargain when comparing it to other similar plans offered by the other larger domestic carriers. If you plan on buying another HTC Hero for your account, you'll have to dish out another $40 per month to receive the same unlimited plan for the second line. It's full steam ahead with the HTC Hero and Cellular South it seems.

That's cool that it is only $40.00 more for a secondary line. I would hope they start offering that with more than just the Hero, and open it up for the Windows Mobile and Palm devices when they become available.
