Cell phone use can lead to low sperm count says study

0. phoneArena 21 Aug 2011, 22:30 posted on

Male cell phone users may feel virile and studly, but a new study in the Journal of Andrology says that cell phone use can lead to a decline in sperm quality and in quantity; experiments were conducted using rats and ended up showing a connection between using a handset and a drop in fertility...

Interesting, but this was tested on rats. Therefor this is disproportionate . Where they rat sized cell phones that put out radiation in proportion to a rats body? Doubt it. This makes the entire study invalid for humans. Let's say it scaled perfectly, that would make the drop in sperm count less then 1% for an adult male... Maybe? Just guessing. But who knows! Maybe this will help bring down teen pregnancy rates! ;)

Wait, are you ****ing kidding me lol? So if I make a call on my phone, that means I shouldn't have sex because I will have low sperm count? Where the hell do they get this stuff lol? Seriously, did PA run out of things to write articles about?

You can still have sex you just might not be able to conceive a child. This I'm OK with at the moment. I don't need any chillins runnin around. I just want to know if this is sustained or if its just a temporary thing.

I wouldn't be too sure about cell phone use and not being able to conceive a child. There are more than a few people I know who were able to conceive a child and they were (for that matter still are) heavy cell phone users.

If you want to have fun and not conceive a child, tried and tested birth control would be in order.

This study is stupid. Wouldn't I have to have the phone on my balls for that to happen?

Can or does? I tried of the "studies" that CLAM mights, maybe, or just simply just don't know as a fact. I would like to see some human studies now. Great someone somewhere is going to pass a law about this...

Last time I checked, my nuts never texted/called anyone off of my phone? Nutdialing just sounds wrong... If anything, I would have radiation in my brain or my ear canals, not my nutsack. There were also studies done years ago and nobody ever proved it to be true, sorry everyone lol.

This study is incredibly old. Its as old as the getting cancer from phone radiation. Both are a couple of years old in fact. Im betting many of you have had children even after these studies were done. Don't stress it damn near everything has radiation these days any way.

If you dont mind becoming a VIP (Very Infertile Person), then continue angry-birding on your phone for hours. Many people spend more time on game and web on a phone that making phone calls.

Many people love to ask "Does this phone has good games?" when asking me to recommend a phone based on a maximum budget, which pisses me off. If games are more important than a phone, get a PSP, not a phone. =.=
