It's not meant to be a high end phone competitor, The phone is another option for the people that work/use there phone in fields that deal with harsh environments. Not everyone would like some big chunky looking construction grade looking phone. This gives the flexibility of something good looking but still have that grade of durability, with have a great camera on the job site or when at play on the town. I think it's priced appropriately, try throwing the Omnia in a pool for 5-6 minutes and pull it out and let me know how that works out for ya.

lol i like the pool comment. I think this will work really well. taking good quality pictures can come in handy for construction workers as it relates to something on the job site or something.

I wouldnt throw a phone in a pool anyway regardless of it being ruggedized or not. I think the price should be closer 199.99. I havent seen prices on regular phones in the 200 dollar range on verizon in while.

I know, but what happens if you got "Pushed in a pool" at a BBQ or something because people are horsing around. The Casio will come just fine... Other phones... not so much.

its good that we have another 5mp phone. not everyone wants to get the omnia cuz its a smartphone but if they wanted a 5mp camera they had to get it...until now. i wouldnt get this phone cuz i love mine so much but i think its definitly going to be a really phone and this phone will provide realy good competition against the boulder as well for it durability and water resistance! good job verizon!
