Even though the Brigade isn't due out until the 14th, some HowardForums users have been able to buy it from Verizon stores and by calling TeleSales...

Its not that the phone is available in the store, its that about 2 weeks ago, we could start direct fulfilling these to the cust so they could actually come into the store, say they wanted it, we'd do the whole contract thing, and the phone would be mailed to them. but either way, you can get one.

I know several people interested in this phone but the price is outrageous. The pricing does not line up w/ the target market. $150 tops after MIR.

On top of the fact that it will require a minimum $10 data plan while an inlimited will cost the same as a smartphone. I wish qchat worked out so I could see something like this.

Ok, hi there. Wasn't this phone released around the same time as the Rock? Verizon has posted their update to the Rock, it's the Ravine. So who thinks this, Brigade, will be updated soon? What changes?
