PA can you please add "advertisment" category to your list. Also there are free apps with the same function, at least in the Play Store.

apple app store also has hundreds of free apps of this kind, but the difference is that this app is more accurate and has a clean ui.....don't bring android into every apple discussion, its all about choice.......apple app store is getting better apps because people are willing to pay for apps....the developers deserve some respect and support for making good apps, its not like, you lash out against the app because it is an iphone app, don't drag the apple vs android into every little discussion, its all about choice, you should compare different apps before judging which is better and which is not, i have the iphone 4s and the galaxy nexus, its all about choice, how can you say about the functionality of any app before purchasing and using it? i love my iphone for the apps, i also like my nexus which is updated to JB

Take it easy, I've had two iPhones so I'm well aware of the quality of the apps. But since I migrated to Android have no use for the App Store and have no knowledge if such apps existed for free. I meant no offense, just stated my opinion and wanted to let users know there are alternatives to a 5$ app that offers no way to get their money back in case they are not satisfied.

So what part of "for the iPhone" did you not understand in the headline then?

The article started "based on MIT technology..." so I wanted to read it. Jesus, are you all shareholders at apple that take this so personally? It's just acomment that states facts, all true and didn't said one bad thing about the app, the app store or Apple. Give me a break.

sorry but i still don't get it, using face to measure your heart rate
in my opinion this have low accuracy

It may be pointless since there are apps that do an accurate job measuring your heart rate by holding your finger over the camera, but I have to admit it is pretty cool if it works. There are not even any healthcare insruments that take heart rates by analyzing your face.

Im a currently and andriod user with an ipod touch. When you compare the app stores, there is really not much comparison. The apple app store is easy to use and gave me the more "clean" feeling. The android app store is kinda nerdy for some reason to me. The quality of the app is play store is not up to par with the apple app store. I think it is bcuz apple regulate the apps, while andriod apps have less regulations.
If you think i hate andriod u r wrong, i manage to find a p*rn app on my andriod god bless no regulation for google play XD
Same with apple, i just like the choice of games they have, thru not a fan of paying for an app.
