Popular messaging app WhatsApp may be in a bit of trouble. It seems that the app has been under investigation for about a year through a joint government action between Canada and the Netherlands, and the investigation has found that the app violates privacy laws...

Really? If that's the case how come I could only see those who actually have whatsapp on my list? Are the information being collected without the whatsapp user knowing either? If that's the case, are we a step closer to having SMS via 3G? Shoot, collect away then...

I could be wrong. But if someone gives me their number and i store it on my phone, how is it wrong that i can see them on whatsapp? It saves a lot of time to invite someone to whatsapp, so its easier cos u gave me your number, which means ur fine with me sending you an sms, which whatsapp works the same way. I could be wrong, but just saying
