Can the Google Nexus 7 survive a 65 foot drop?

I've had the Nexus 7 for over 2 months and have not dropped it once. The material on the back makes it really easy to grip. It's not likely that someone is going to drop the Nexus 7 during regular use.

I dropped my Nexus 7 - 3 times - normal 3 ft or less drops...no problems with it so far...

Aluminium or not the iPads screen is gonna shatter anyway .
I love the Transformer Infinity , aluminium and gorilla glass 2 .
Just that I want the 3G version which is powered by the dual 1.5ghz snapdragon s4 instead of the tegra 3 .
Which one you think is better tegra 3 wifi only or snapdragon s4 with 3G ?

It actually depends if you are going to use the 3G or not.
Yes: go for the snapdragon s4
No: go for the Wifi only as it will be probably cheaper.
I for one tend to tether my computer/tablet and use my phone data for that, so I only need the wifi only.
For the SoCs, both have advantages and disadvantages, so (for me) the final result is a tie:
S4: better GPU, better performance for single threaded applications, better battery life (not that it really makes a real difference in a tablet)
Tegra: better multi threaded performance, more games optimized for the GPU.

They cost about the same . I think the 3G version is better for me . Tablet data only plans are cheaper and wifi hotspot eats up a lot of data of the phone and kill battery very fast .

yeah if you keep dropping them from 65 feet buddy you'll have to end up owning new tablets every time....its just commonn sense!

I definitely agree. It may scatter into pieces but when you put them back, it will definitely work like nothing happened. It does leave a dent on the floor so beware.
