Even though it might come across as a confusing gesture to some people, there are business-oriented people out there that would happily pick up handsets that don’t feature cameras – partly due to strict rules at their workplace.

In the past, we’ve seen RIM produce non-camera versions of their handsets to cater to this specific group of customers – and it looks like the BlackBerry Bold 9930 is going to be a part of it too. Specifically, Sprint customers will have the opportunity of buying the non-camera version of the recently released smartphone starting on September 9th. Much like their previous offerings, there is no discount picking up the cameraless version of the handset – meaning, you’ll need to fork $249.99 for either versions of the Bold 9930.

Nevertheless, it’s indeed nice to see RIM still catering to this specialized group of customers seeing that it’s very rare to find manufacturers making firm commitments to appease business class customers.
