Budget priced Micromax Canvas Spark to be unveiled in India on April 21st

A teaser from Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax reveals that the company will be unveiling a new device on April 21st. The Micromax Canvas Spark is expected to be a budget-priced handset priced at the equivalent of $96 USD. In India, the device will compete with models like the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and the second-gen Motorola Moto G.

While a complete set of specs hasn't been leaked for the Canvas Spark, previous teasers posted by Micromax tell us that the unit will have Android 5.0 pre-installed with a "good" camera gracing the back of the handset. The Gorilla Glass protected display will feature a 720 x 1280 resolution.

The Micromax Canvas Spark will be a Snapdeal exclusive and will be sold via flash sales. As far as the rest of the specs are concerned, we should know a lot more on Tuesday when the device becomes official.
