Mine works lovely all you have to do is the initial voice recognition properly and set the speed recognition right for your speech pattern (very easy to do) and voila.

I have to agree with ayephoner. I troubleshoot androids all day.....in fact come to think of it, 98% of the calls i get all day are anroid users with issues...hmm. let's factor that one in. Anyways back to the main topic, android voice recognition is like a dirty hooker, it only works if you slap it around a little bit. Oh and factory reset it....i forgot that one in there but it really wouldn't fit with the hooker scenario.

No Apple has certain gestures that they were the first to use and patented. That's innovation. Adding voice recognition, which has been around forever, is not innovation. Apple doesn't have a patent on multitouch but the gestures.

yeah, cause no one ever used any gestures on any type of device before . . . oh wait, yeah I guess Logitech and a few other mouse-pad producers had a few. . . apple took the obvious and applied it to the iphone and then got a patent--no we never locked in vertical or horizontal scrolling in a web browser before the iphone.

It amazes me, every time you say something about apple it's always, "they did it first." You really must be the most clueless tech enthusiast on the planet or just retarded not to be able to see where there ideas came from.

Spend a little time and read about the 30+ years of multi-touch and you might just realize that every gesture has been done. . . no one but apple is clueless enough to think that every "multi-touch gesture" ought to be patented, as others know there is prior art and natural behavior. . . but apple is now a patent troll.

And to end it all, how sad is it that apple's "big patents" for the iphone are gestures. yeah, they really patented all that tech they invented/innovated.
