it really doesn't matter now and days... $50. slower network or not Boost will be a better pick. however, METRO PCS is better than both because none of these two above offer unlimited international texting like metro does, plus, NO CONTRACT signed. if i'm not mistaken Boost and Virgin Mobile are using SPRINT's network.

from what i have heard, boost offers unlimited international text messaging for $10/month... boost uses sprint's iden network, while virgin mobile uses sprint's cdma network...

but bc of boost's unlimited texting plan the texting has now been delayed due to massive usage and it takes hours for messages to be sent or received

I have the Boost Monthly Unlimited plan (calls, texts and web) and the overpriced I9 phone. I can't access Gmail. They lied about the problem for four weeks, consuming 12 hours of my time. They have the nerve to cite fine print (which I've never seen and is not prominently displayed) that says there are no guarantees in regard to web access. As if anyone would even think he or she needed an assurance about being able to get onto a major web-based email service used by millions?
