Boost Mobile is entering the unlimited battle eh? Good luck to them. Now, all Boost needs to do is get some new phones and expand their CDMA phone line up.

Well, no need to for CDMA phones because Boost uses the iDen network for the PTT, it says that in the article.

that's right baileyboy. Boost will be phasing out its CDMA unlimited offer, but will continue to support those CDMA customers. Also, Boost will be coming out with more iDEN phones this quarter, so stay tuned!

Oh, so does this mean that Sprint could use Boost as a way to unload the iDEN network to a carrier that actually uses it? Last time I check, most people buy Sprint CDMA phones and rarely purchase the Sprint Nextel iDEN phones.

wow, id never buy boost then. iden? are you kidding? that network is HORRIBLE. more people jump ship from nextell than any other carrier from what i see walkin through my doors. you dont even have good coverage in a dense area like a city, u r screwed!

remixfa, the Nextel National Network (iDEN) is actually performing at its best levels ever. no shoddy coverage at Boost. in fact, Cricket/Leap's prepaid network gets 4 times more dropped calls than Boost, and MetroPCS's prepaid network gets 2 times more dropped calls than Boost, based on independent third-party drive test data from Feb-Sept '08 for common markets within the top 50 most populous U.S. markets. and then they slap you with extra fees and taxes. that's just wrong. - Boost Mobile www.boostmobile.com
