Bold delayed until mid-August?

According to BGR, the Bold will not launch on AT&T until mid-August. Apparently, RIM is running into software issues causing poor battery life and overheating, and therefore, the device has not been certified by AT&T yet. This of course, has not been confirmed by either company, but lets face it, BGR's word is nearly as good an official RIM press release. No mention of this affecting other carriers or not, but if it's only AT&T having issues we wonder how long that exclusivity is going to last?

Thats disappointing. I really wanted to get my hands on this phone and handle it alittle through its software. Guess I have to wait till right around my birthday

I really wasn't to siked about this phone. The iPhone 3G is much better.
