Imagine that you're out camping and the battery on your smartphone is running low. You're probably getting the cold sweats just thinking about this scenario. But there is a product that will allow you to boil water in a pot, feed your battery the juice it needs to run, and feed yourself, all at the same time. Friday night on ABC's Shark Tank, a company called Power Practical showed off the PowerPot...

When I'm camping, I turn my phone off, bag it up and carry it in a armored case.
As there's usually no signal anyways.

I can't see a good reason nor a 150 of them to justify this, but that's my opinion.

For $150 good luck selling that. Maybe its just me but extra battery packs are so much cheaper and easier to use ( charge multiple devices at once, more power, easier to carry, etc). What happens when you are in a place with no water to boil, how you gonna charge your phone?

I could see use for this. Being a hunter, I could actually use my Lumia Icons for its GPS and not have to worry about my phone dying and how I am going to charge it. $150 is a little steep though.
