As expected, Blizzard has just revealed the name of the next Hearthstone expansion: Knights of the Frozen Throne. Since this isn't an adventure, you won't have to buy it. However, in order to get any of the 135 new cards, you'll have to purchase card packs. The good news is these card packs can be bought with in-game money.

Knights of the Frozen Throne will make its debut on all compatible platforms in August, as no specific release date has been announced yet.

The upcoming expansion will feature a new keyword: Lifesteal. Knights of the Frozen Throne will give every Hearthstone class access to life stealing minions, so any damage done by minions with this ability is restored to a hero's health.

Even though Knights of the Frozen Throne is not quite the adventure type of expansion that we got used to, the package will come with a free solo adventure. Also, a free Death Knight card will be rewarded to all players who beat the Prologue Mission.

On top of that, Blizzard announced that players who defeat certain bosses would be awarded card packs from the newest Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion.

A new bundle of 50 Knights of the Frozen Throne card packs is now available for pre-purchase for $49.99 / €49.99. Each of the card packs contains at least one rare card, and for each 10 card packs opened, you will get one legendary in one of the packs.
