The latest numbers from Kantar Worldpanel are due out any day, but we have a little teaser from the company as it released market share figures for the U.K. and they reveal that BlackBerry continues to have problems in the region; in June of 2012, the Canadian OEM had a 10.6% market share, well ahead of the 3.7% earned by Windows Phone at that time...

I feel they deserve it. I like the OS but I'm really annoyed with their pricing. Has someone done a teardown and found out how much the Z10 and the Q10 cost?
Also, impressive how Nokia performed.

The numbers for all the major markets are out already.
UK share for WP is actually 8.6% not 8.1%.
France - 9%,
Germany - 5.9%,
Italy - 7.8%

This is phone arena. They'll use whatever number makes android look good and WP/Blackberry look terrible. Sadly I think the MotoX will have a huge impact over the next quarter as more costly handsets like the 1020, iphone 5 and S4 struggle.

Don't forget.. one reason Apple is increasing AND so is WP over Android is low end phones the 52x series from Nokia and the iPhone4 are increasing share over android, simply due to cost. The thing is I think Nokia can keep up the low end going, while Apple kills the 4 and starts to sell the 5C at a higher price. Which will kill the momentum they have.

First, BlackBerry's pricing for their phones are horribly wrong. Second, the phones they are making cannot even compete with other flagships making their flagships a mid range phone. Lastly, advertisements are terribly seldom. Nokia with Microsoft's backing is in the middle of a very drastic transition. They are already seeing the fruits of their labor.

Ive had every smart phone worth having and to be honest I really like the new blackberry z10! It just made its comeback at the wrong time. I love the way the os works but the app market is awful. Wp (1020) was down right horrible and I took it back the next day bc it had so many issues! The s4 and htc one are great phones and do everything! I didnt like the iphone 5 but with the new ios 7 I may go back. For now im z10 and it is a really good phone just needs better marketing!
