BlackBerry announces 25 Days of Gifts giveaway; promotion starts December 1st
BlackBerry might be troubled, but even the Canadian based manufacturer is getting into the swing of the holidays. The company has just announced its 25 Days of Gifts promotion. Starting this Sunday, December 1st, those sporting a BlackBerry 10 handset can visit BlackBerry World and receive a premium download for free. Apps, movies and games will be available, but each day's offering is on the house for 24 hours only, which means that you need to check in daily to catch each day's free offering.

The app or content that is free each day will vary from handset to handset and from region to region and the models allowed to take part in the giveaway include the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry Z30, BlackBerry Q5 and the all touch BlackBerry Porsche Design P9982. The latter handset is a $2000 premium priced model that appears similar to the BlackBerry Z10 in design, and is the sequel to 2011's BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981. That model was a futuristic looking version of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 complete with a physical QWERTY keyboard.

BlackBerry 10 users can score one free premium download a day from BlackBerry World from December 1 through December 25th

Agreed, according to this and most tech blogs (engadget mostly) they have some serious money riding on a company going out of business and putting thousands of people out of jobs.
I dont understand the malice that media has for companies struggling... shouldnt they be cheering the loudest?

So what a whole two people who use the app store. Blackberry let's make this simple nobody wants your products anymore and you had your glory days and your done. Quit trying to impress people because you don't. Put a fork in it and rest in peace. You are finished and give up already
