The BlackBerry Z30 smartphone has already been released in the UK, and North America could be the next stop on its world tour. Over the weekend, a Verizon-friendly model of the handset has received the FCC's thumbs-up, with support for the carrier's frequencies and all. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise, actually. Verizon itself tweeted several days ago that the BlackBerry Z30 will soon be available on its network...

Nice ! I'm checking it out. This will be my next excellent phone after the flop with my L520.

I wonder if there is going to be a Q30 as well? That way, BB can repeat the experience of the Z10/Q10 again.

"last years hardware"... It's funny the way the media reports on Blackberry. I looked at a spec to spec comparison that a reviewer did and Blackberry was only topped by the Galaxy 4 (specs only) then they said BB was last. All the posts (even people that didn't like BB) said huh?
compare it to the Iphone 5S - the super latest greatest phone of Apple and the BB makes It look like a joke, at best.
BB - better battery, screen is bigger higher resolution and super AMOLED VS old LCD, OS is newer more modern and more reliable, better stereo speakers and multiple microphones, faster processer, faster web browsing, built in HDMI and micro USB, more memory and upgradeable.
Where do these reviewers get their material? it's such a joke. BB's phones are as a very minimum comparable to all the others. Definitely blows Apple away - If apple wasn't apple it would be toast. Apps are developed based on volume. If BB doesn't get the media turned around (they don't have to be their advertiser like Apple and Android) but just stop attacking them for 5 minutes they will come back... Sheesh - I don't get it? Anyone?

Yeah, I'm not sure why everyone was complaining about the specs, they aren't that old, or even pretty old and basically on-par with a lot of phones on the market.
That said, this is something BlackBerry should've released sooner to grab more attention. Looking forward to the reviews and battery life outcome.

What do you like the most about Z30?
I currently have Samsung Galaxy S 2 Skyrocket which is a two year old version.
I’m thinking about an upgrade between BB Z30 (I know blackberry is in major trouble but the keyboard seems amazing). or LG G2
I’m on AT&T and use my phone for texting 60% surfing the net 30% and as a phone 10%.
Daily screen time 3 hours or less.
