Two more countries will be launching the BlackBerry Z10 over the next 24 hours with the new all-touch BlackBerry 10 OS device launching Monday in Beirut and Tuesday in Turkey; we still do not have a launch date for the device in the United States although T-Mobile has said that it wants to be first to launch the phone in the States...

I need to get my hands on one before I can decide on whether to consider this an option or pass on it.

I have a legit question. How the hell does the Middle East and South Africa get the new device before the USA? What's the hold up? I'm not being sarcastic, it just doesn't make any sense. Someone please inform me.

Africa, middle east and I would dare to say that Venezuela, and some of south america, are the biggest Blackberry markets today...
From my point of view (in venezuela) that is rapidly changing due to strong marketing of Samsung and quality flagships...
Other Androids and apple products are also eating away on blackberry...
But for the time being, those places are blackberry strongest presence, for now...

With stanky attitude towards BB by Americans, any wonder why?

That's easy. Well US is the home turf of Apple and as Apple's stock is tanking, they can't really let someone new on the block to drive Apples stock down even more now can they? After all have you googled how much money Apple is paying the white house as a lobbyist--they've even slashed the price recently. Ever wonder why they've dumped blackberry for iOS in the government sector just like a hot potato? It's all about politics and money. The whole world knows BB10 is selling like hot cakes and yet "analysts" are shielding us Americans from the truth. They're saying the FCC is testing the device--I would call BS on that. The phone torn apart is found to be very similar to a Samsung phone not to mention similar platform/chip that drives the phone.

Also, to mention where the phone has been launched, their doors are blown wide open by strong demands of the phone. Judging from the anticipation from people's reaction would tell me once it releases in the US, sales should not disappoint--however we shall see since iPhone 5S and Samsung G-IV should also be releasing at a similar time frame.

correct, blown open in canada and 3 other countries, other than that nada, that hot cake only looks hot but nobody really want to buy it. especially with the new HTC One : the Z10 made right and what Z10 should've been... unless BB follow nokia step and sell it for cheap, Z10 wont be able to see the light of day around the world.
