BlackBerry Virtual Expert app for the BlackBerry Priv now available in the Google Play Store
The BlackBerry Virtual Expert app is now available from the Google Play Store. The app will run diagnostic tests on certain parts of the BlackBerry Priv. There are 18 separate parts of the device that are tested with the app including the Cameras, Camera Flash, Display, Keyboard, Main Keypad, Side keys, Slider, Touch Screen, Receiver Speaker, Loudspeaker, Stereo Headset, Microphones, Vibrator, Status LED, USB connector, USB port, Light Sensor and the Proximity Sensor.

Once the test is completed, you will get to see the scores. If any of the tests fail, BlackBerry suggests that you contact your carrier and show them the results of the diagnostic test.

The beauty of downloading the app is that it can you give you an unbiased diagnosis to help you determine what the problem is with your Priv. And once BlackBerry starts rolling out more Android powered models, this app should be able to work with them as well. BlackBerry CEO John Chen has already made it clear that there will be at least one more 'Berry handset launched this year, powered by Google's open source OS. That will probably be the model currently known by the Vienna codename.

The BlackBerry Virtual Expert is available as a free download from the Google Play Store. To install it on your Priv, click on the sourcelink.
