This phone will tank on Verizon. They have put so much stock into android that anything else is gonna easily play 2nd fiddle.

I dunno about that, blackberry still has a really strong customer base. I think it'll be interesting to see the dual core droids battle it out with the iphone and new blackberry os6 devices. The torch (and os6) is as much blackberry's shot at the androids and iphones as the droid pro is a shot at blackberry. They all have their strong points.

i have to agree with you maccmill, every phone OS have their strong and weak points, i hate how everybody is always trying to make each other look bad, it's all about the person's opinion and what they want from their phone and what they dont want or dont care if their phone has

I will never own a device other than a BlackBerry. The best, hottest BlackBerry I can get on Verizon's network is the one I will always have!

Based on what BB is presently available in CDMA with version 6, my guess is the 9670 style. But it could be a CDMA version of the Torch. Who knows....

They just gotta add 0.3 inches to the screen. 720p. dual core. resolution 480 x 800. Front facing camera

front facing cameras are gay. what are they good for? NOTHING except maybe horny calls to your significant other girlfriend when at work so your wife/husband doesnt know whats going on. personally, i wouldnt buy a phone with a front facing camera. it makes no sense at all.

@mr.droid I agree with you on a couple parts on how a front facing camera. At first I was excited to have a front facing camera when I got my phone but now I really don't seem to have a use for needing it. I don't know anyone who uses FaceTime and I just use skype on my Mac. I just use it to take pictures though. But other people may use it for purposes other than me so it can be a good thing to have a front camera on a phone. But personally I can't see a blackberry torch having a front facing camera.

I would say that Blackberry pretty much lost their prime when they released the torch on at&t. Im a Verizon customer have been for years. I had a storm 2 and was ready for upgrade saw the torch. I liked the phone but I'm not leaving a good network for a bad one. I got droid x. Won't ever go to Blackberry again.

Like the storm 2, verizon needs a completely new blackberry device that is exclusive to them. needs to be all touch, 6.0 and LTE. thats it. who cares if you love blackberry or not. I do and thats what I want.

Will be entertaining the thought of leaving Blackberry for this.....The name of the upcoming device is still elusive, but the HTC Droid Thunderbolt is the most likely candidate. 4G phone on LTE network. The Droid Thunderbolt is rumored to pack a 4.3-inch screen and 1GHz Snapdragon CPU in a sleek aluminum body.

And then again if it turns out to be other than stellar, Im selecting the Samsung Fascinate over the Droid X.
