BlackBerry Storm 9500 hits .109 on the OS scale
It has happened almost every weekend, and this past one was no exception. Another leaked OS upgrade for the BlackBerry Storm has now been introduced and this time it is strictly for the Vodafone version, the 9500. We are now up to 4.07.0.109 and we again caution you that this is not an officially released OS upgrade and that downloading it onto your Storm could be risky.  Early indications are that the update improves the accelerometer, speeds up the camera and the browser and keeps the QWERTY keyboard in portrait mode. Some have called it the most stable OS yet for the device while on the other hand, some have reported no changes and a continued loss of color depth with the icons. Hopefully, we will soon see a carrier-supported official firmware update for both the 9500 and the 9530. Until then, it looks like we will see a leaked version every weekend.

Why did BB ever release this phone. It has definitely tainted their reputation.
