I hope the clickable screen will be gone, while it is nice and the Storm 2 click screen was a much needed improvement over the Storm 1, it's still not a good way to make a touchscreen device.

The clickable screen was the best! I could type faster with my Storm 2 than on any other touchscreen phone. Had it not been introduced on the original Storm, RIM would have had a winner.

I'm definitely in agreement with you Whateverman. SurePress tech on the Storm2 was excellent. On the 9570, it was supposed to have been as great of an improvement over the Storm2 as the 2 was the original. It's really a shame that we won't see that model.

I don't necessarily feel the need to have the greatest tech out there. Don't get me wrong, I'll take it, but I just needed something that improved the weak points of the 9550 model. That 9570 would've done just that. Sadly too many people complained that it wouldn't hold up to the Droids or iPhones. It's true, but the option should be ours. An on /off option would've resolved so many people's issues with the Storm SurePress.
