Yes, Balck Berry has apps.
BB has been playing catchup for years now and most people outside the business enviroment have given up on BB. Looking at the lineup of tablets either already out or announced The Playbook doesn't have a chance.

Prices should be adjusted down $50 for every model due to the 7" display size. A WiFi only 32GB Moto Xoom is $599 and you get a bigger display, and arguably a better tablet all around. Head to head, despite how nice the Playbook is, I see no real reason to go with it over a Xoom, unless you're a Blackberry fanatic.

This tab will be twice the tab the xoom is. I would pick the playbook anyday and I am an android user, Blackberry did this right.

The interface is awesome, and unlike Honeycomb supports true multitasking.
