BlackBerry KEYone now available for purchase in the UK

After repeatedly delaying the arrival of the Blackberry KEYone in the UK, at least one retailer has been able to make it available for purchase. Clove announced the KEYone is now in stock and ready to ship, so customers can order it and receive it in just a few days.

The BlackBerry KEYone costs £499 (including VAT) in the UK, which might seem a bit overpriced to those living in the US who will be able to buy it for just $549.

Speaking of which, BlackBerry announced that the KEYone will make its debut in the US at the end of the month. The smartphone will be available at major carriers across the country, as well as unlocked via authorized resellers.

Specs-wise, there will be no differences between the North American and European versions of the BlackBerry KEYone. The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch scratch-resistant display with 1080 x 1620 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating.

The KEYone comes equipped with a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory (expandable up to 256GB). Since we've already tested the phone, we suggest reading our BlackBerry KEYone review for more in-depth details.

Getting closer and closer to the U.S. launch date. Can't wait to get my hands on this extremely productive device.

I managed to get one when Selfridges was the only place in the world that sold it. Had it for a couple weeks now, and I absolutely love it.

Hey MG, when you get the KEYone, make sure to give us your experience. What's your current phone?

I definitely will! Currently using a BlackBerry PRIV as my primary handset, with a BlackBerry Passport as my secondary handset.

I wonder where can you order the factory unlocked variant? BB's website is only showing carriers so far. I know the Dtek's as well as all bb10s before could be ordered direct from Blackberry - with free shipping to boot.

Selfridges or clove. Clove has it in stock. Yeah it's the UK version, but supports all major north American lte bands. I got mine from selfridges a couple weeks ago. Zero connectivity issues.

Blackberry will most likely have unlocked version on their website on the 31st since that's when it'll be ready for US orders

It looks like a cool device but that screen would be useless for watching videos on, that's why I'm glad I have the S8 plus
