The most important part of this article was the release date which falls in line with what I've read before. I think this will be the next Blackberry I purchase. I hope it's as fast as the latest Bold that AT&T just released.

why is blackberry's support for imap such a failure? was i not doing something right with my storm?

5. BlackberryUser posted on 08 Dec 2009, 00:29

VZW, you confuse me. I thought you were a huge advocate of your Storm and it seems from recent posts you may have switched over to the Droid?

6. vzw fanman posted on 08 Dec 2009, 14:12

i have switched to the droid, it is so much better than my storm. i did love it, but i love the droid more. :-). the imap support for the droid is 100% better than the storm. rim needs to update their email UI.

Question - i use my BB for work (currently using the Pearl) - we have the enterprise server so my email, calendar, etc come directly to my BB pearl. Will the Droid do this?

You forgot the other major difference...the trackpad vs. the trackball. Considering the history of the trackball on the original Tour, I'd label it 'the' major difference. LOL...

I agree this is a major difference as is the wifi, but I just read over that now that I've seen it so much. This was a good point though. It seems this will be a CDMA version of the new Bold. I would not be dissapointed if it was after playing with the new Bold. The new Bold was at least 4 times faster then my Tour.
