They're kinda persistent and persevering though.. thinking that RIM is a sinking ship.. specs-wise, fair... OS-wise, bad( this is just my personal op) .. they have already found out that they willnot succeed in releasing such phones but do it all over again?

Incredible, sinking ship and these fools still put out garbage that was outdated when the Storm launched 4 years ago. Now we know why RIM is going belly up, dumb decisions from dumb CEO's and CFO's, look at this trash. It has the specs of a feature phone from 2 years ago. $409 is too much to pay for such old tech and i wonder what OS it will be running? RIM is too staunch with the stuck in a loop design, these guys have 3 designs to their credit, Storm, Torch and the old faithful Pearl/Curve or whatever the name of the other one with the exact same design. Someone put this horse out of it's misery, this is getting embarrassing.

You can get it for the nostalgia value.

You can get the same phone other than it's the non world phone version for Sprint for $350 I do believe. For $50 on contract. If you hate touch screens, but want your email now, a good browser, and type a lot then it's a good phone. If those things don't matter to you then there is no point. There are other devices out there that will better suit your needs. I'm a BB user myself and have the Bold Touch. I wouldn't be happy with the Curve either.
