Here is some great news for Android and iOS owners who have been waiting for a few weeks for another shot at installing BlackBerry Messenger. BlackBerry CMO Frank Boulben said on Monday that he expects BBM for iOS and BBM for Android to both be available "within days"; the social messaging application, which previously had been made available to BlackBerry users only, allows for group chats with as many as 30 people at one time...

He is just pointing out his discontent. Nothing wrong with that.
How can BB expect to lead smartphone world if they can't handle a simple app launch !

Who has time to go around each article and saying I don't care about this article. Is someone going to that fool that he doesn't get any points or benefit out of commenting on each and every article?

"i dont care about this article" is definitely not the same as "i dont care about BBM".
he meant to taunt BBM that you love. "IDGAF about it (BBM)" means that BBM that you love is not the best IM app in this world, its not a big thing in this life, this world wont end if it is not ever released (probably to you, this world will end if you dont ever have it). those sentences definitely have the same meaning as "IDGAF about it (BBM)".
when you are going to taunt or criticize something that someone loves, you have to say it. so he came to this article for saying it to you. taunting doesnt always have any benefit. taunting is not always a waste of time, because you dont own people's time, probably to you its a waste of time, so you dont ever do it. and taunting doesnt always break the rule. so there is nothing wrong with that

I really wanted BlackBerry to make it, I did, but it's getting slightly pathetic at this point..

funny how xda come out with full builds of the latest verison of android ...for free.... at home... in their spare time as a hobby ...yet a company with what i can only assume is "team" of programmers can't do an app in however long Blackberry is taking......

Very funny. This app is not coming out until Blackberry is properly dead with no hope of revival. BBM is the only reason why people use BB. Make it available to other platforms and BB phones will sell no more.

It's too late for this.. I have no friends or relatives using BB so, I am no longer interested with BBM.

"BlackBerry said that the bogus version was making it impossible for them to offer the real thing to Android users. So it was back to the drawing board for both versions of the BBM application."
What the hell does this statement even mean? BB is so incompetent about their product that they couldn't even differentiate it from all the fakes? Or that the fakes were actually better than the original? That's weird

From what I see, BlackBerry acknowledged the fact that its BB OS7 handsets had nothing going for them except BBM. So even after being in red for a considerable time now they could not launch BBM for IOS and Android at the cost of their sales (however minisucle they were).
They must've been waiting for their OS10 devices to be launched to provide atleast some standing against Apple and Google. Now that their devices have flopped, BB should be careful not to waste this last oppurtunity as its giving its most important USP to its rivals free of cost.
Very skeptical about the charges BB will charge after installing the app because it will make or break it...
