BlackBerry Bold 9000 and Curve 8900 get in the OS 5.0 game thanks to leaks

The flood gates for OS 5.0 for other BlackBerry handsets have really opened up as the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and Curve 8900 are the latest to get into the game. BerryReview posted the OS 5.0.0.509 leak for the two smartphones that have been waiting patiently while others before it were graced with the latest version of the platform. Although it's not an official release, you'll be all on your own as you install it – so do it at your own risk. If you have a feel for some thrill, then you can go ahead and give it a shot yourself – just be sure to backup your data beforehand. It seems like an eternity since the BlackBerry Bold 9000 was released, but it's nice to see that there's still some love for the aging current generation handset that seemingly started the rush for all the others.
