We have some pictures of the new BlackBerry Atlas. At this point, no one seems to know exactly where this device fits in RIM's lineup. First, we want to say that these photos come from the same tipster who has been able to video the Storm 2 and seems to be very well connected with RIM. His take on the Atlas is that it looks to be another variant on the Bold and is a GSM device like the 9000. On the other hand, Crackberry originally called the Atlas the CDMA answer to the Curve 8900, perhaps the 8930. Some have considered the Atlas to be the Wi-Fi enabled version of the Tour 9630, but that 'Berry is now known as the Essex. Nothing is set in stone on this handset with questions about the camera as some suggest that it is better quality than the 3.2MP originally suggested. We are still very early with this device and you can expect more Atlas news to break soon.

lavender is a gross color for a phone. whoever decides the whole pink girly colors for phones needs to be hit over the head....

It has EDGE listed with the wi-fi so my guess this is another GSM device.
