Earlier on Tuesday, we told you that BlackBerry's board was considering spinning off BBM into a new company; with the first three BlackBerry 10 models failing to get consumers excited and thus unable to turn the company around, if the Canadian based manufacturer has a last chance it will be up to the BlackBerry Aristo Z30...

Really looking forward to checking this out. BB10 is by far the most user friendly OS on the market right now, and the more devices there are, the better for all competition.
Coming from Android for the last 4 years or so, the Z10 is SO easy to deal with on a daily basis. My GS3 and HTC one take so much... more effort to get things done.

"BB10 is by far the most user friendly OS on the market right now..."
That is definitely the first I've heard anyone say that. Not a single review I've read agrees with that & after trying it out myself, I found it rather unintuitve. Some of those gestures are just plain silly. We're all entitled to our own opinions, I suppose.

Is Up down left right too difficult for you?
Im not trying to be snarky, I genuinely would like to know what you find difficult about it.. because yes, I hear people say that and it makes me scratch my head. With android the genuine mess it is, sometimes back buttons on the left, sometimes the right, sometimes theres no menu, sometimes the menu is in the app, sometimes back is on the screen, sometimes home takes you home, sometimes it takes you to the app drawer (HTC ONE). I know, for a fact that if I swipe UP on my phone, I get home. Period. Every single time. If I swipe up and right, I see every message I ever get. Every single time. I just dont understand how thats difficult to comprehend.

I said they were unintuitive, not difficult. I shouldn't have to swipe up & over to handle a simple task in my opinion. That's not as intuitive as pressing a button. You're calling Android a mess because different OEMs use different button configurations, but I only have one Android phone. Why do I care what someone else's Android does? My Android has one button configuration & it stays the same on my phone. It's not as if I'm switching phones every month. And who's to say that when BB11 comes out that some of your gestures won't be different? That was a silly point to even bring up.

You shouldnt have to hit home, then sms, then home, then email, then home, then gmail, then home, then Facebook, then home, then twitter, then home, then calls, then home, then voice mail either, but you do.. and I swipe up and over and get all that information... so youll forgive me that I still fail to follow your "its so unintuitive" comment.
Also, the android point is kind of a big deal since even within manufacturers, the android buttons are a mess.. HTC cant keep the buttons in the same places even in the same model year of devices, the ONE doesnt HAVE a menu key but most of their other phones do for instance.

They have to get a lid on the leaks of fire sale of parts of their ecosystem under control if they are thinking they may sell a few of these.
Hopefully, they foresee to release with a half decent price for what it packs an not equivalent to what they think it is worth.
Otherwise I see a shelf queen.

This is a great looking device. Problem is in order for blackberry to be relevant this device would have had to been exceptional and I just don't see that. This is merely another luxury car on the lot. At this point I would seriously look at all my options if I were blackberry. I sincerely wish them luck though. Hein's has done a superb job given the mess he was handed.

SMH. Really!!! idk about this. The phone looks good and from the video it seems to run smooth. Hopefully they market this good in the fall because Blackberry (RIM) needs this to go well!!!

That's the best you can come up with BlackBerry? It totally sucks! No wonder you're going down.

Good luck to you, Blackberry!
This is phone will sell well if you're flexible with the price. The price should be competitive with other HD Screen rivals. Some of my friends really want to get Z10 but they decided to buy S3 instead and some buy Xperia SP because of the price. Z10 $560>S3 $450>Xperia SP $330 (the price 2 months ago). Firstly, they compared OS, Secondly, compared the price, Thirdly, compared display and resolution, Fourthly, compared Camera, Fifthly, compared CPU, RAM and Native storage, Sixthly, compared battery and also compared the design.
Just my two cents!

Decrease the price, then you will see "some of the BlackBerry hardcore" or might be some other platform user will turn to you. Remember, PRICE is the biggest you fail BERRIES boy....

I would say next platform cool specs is simple and works well but I have to say 8 mp camera? And with android apps being able to download there I hope you don't have to side load it has to be simple pulling people from apple who generally have simplicity on their minds it must work flawlessly for the end user

So basically, its the droid ultra (specs and looks wise) with blackberry (and probably a worse camera). Just like the z10 was alot like the iPhone 5 or the RAZR m, but with blackberry and a cheaper looking design. If blackberry prices this at anything over $200 on contract it is DOA.
