BlackBerry App World version 1.1 to bring nice new features
All BlackBerry owners will be surely glad to find out that RIM has updated the documentation of their online application store from 1.0 to 1.1. According to BerryReview, this is a sign that a new BlackBerry App World version is coming soon. It will bring along two major improvements and the first is really significant – users of BlackBerry App World will be permitted to reinstall already purchased software without having to shell out once again. Moreover, they will be allowed to archive data and install applications on the expanded memory of their handsets, avoiding the well-known problem with lack of enough sustem recourses.

The second novelty is less significant, but still good news. RIM will launch a web-based version of BlackBerry App World that can be browsed by anyone. The full documentation can be found here.

"Moreover, they will be allowed to archive data and install applications on the expanded memory of their handsets" FINALLY.Win Mo has been able to do this for years... why did it have to take this long?

Not sure, people have been so unhappy with thier berry's because of how slow they are, you'd think RIM would have ended this some time ago. I for one would love just the extra storage, Ive got this 8gb preinstaleed and nothing to put on it...The storm of all phone should of had this released with it...oh well Storm FTW

My gripe about my storm as well. 1GB total onboard storage not even including the memory card and applications only gets 40MB? I HIGHLY doubt even the most hardcore blackberry user is going to manage to fill 1GB with Emails and such... Even if they did if you have 500+MB of emails it might be time to delete some of them...
