Once again you failed to mention the main reason 10.2.1 is so important. You can now easily download and run the majority of Android apps. How is this not mentioned in the article?

Yes, this is a MUST MENTION point in the context of the update. I firmly believe the BB 10 is a wonderful OS and has it in itself to become a leading one. Just needs a bit of support from people around.
And if it succeeds, it will only be useful for us. We'll have yet another good option to choose.

i do not understand why BB did very big mistake, while updating from OS7 to OS10, i know it was the all new OS , and the previous hardware was not that capable to be updated OK got it, but when u had given the new users independence to use many features with out requiring the BB paid services , then y not to the older users and that was truly possible, it changed alot of things for BB, and sort of reversed situation for them, i have a black berry bold 9900, with OS 7 but i am not going to upgrade to any of BB devices , but to some other reliable people who will take care of their old customers same way their new ones,
so it is my point if they had care for old customers including me as i have 9900 , so i wud surely go for a BB device next and that might be the reason for many people why they shifted to some other OS instead of BB10, when they already had to learn a completely new OS, why not any other then BB

You not switching to a newer device, with a much better and modern operating system, is why the company is going down the drain. You are killing the company with your inability to change. The operating system is easy to use and has all the niceties and polish of iOS/Android. The app problem has even been addressed with access to the Google Play store. BB10 wipes the floor with all BlackBerry operating systems before it. It is stable, consistent, and remains true to the BlackBerry mainstays for security and productivity. Its 2014, not 2011, so keep moving forward.
