A picture allegedly shows the first L Series BlackBerry 10 device booting up and right away you can see that it looks nothing like the boot up screen on BlackBerry 7; as we get closer to the first quarter of thew year, expect more leaks about BB10 to make their way around the interwebs...

Let's just hope it doesn't take three hours for the OS to boot up.

if it does take 3 hours to boot up lets hope the phone has rediculouse battery life (rediculouse meaning good) or when the power is low it doesn't turn off fully but power down non esential operations such as 3g/4g antenna lite sencers basically only allowing you to use the phone as a phone.

RIM should just throw in the towel at this point. They've delayed BB10 too many times. They've lost a ton of market share.

I think this may be the first time I'm actually forced to agree with you..

RIM should be working on a revolutionary UI - not just something that resembles Android\iOS.

It doesn't matter what they do, it's not android so it'll fail no matter what.

probably rim is trying to make sure to achieve zero bugs when release and not end up like apple maps... just be patient lol

lost yes...but never throw a towel!!

have you seen the latest shipment 13 2012? RIM is the 3rd manufacturer next to apple and samsung is number 1... nokia cant be found on top 5! even im a nokia fan too!

BB10 will be awesome and deal with it!! if you dont care about them, why bother comment? and it will have what people wanted and needed... apps are counting!! since BB10 is also the Playbook OS, apps wont be a problem...especially that android devs find developing apps for BB10 is easy! voice assistant is rumored as well, dual mode too, you can have both your work phone and personal phone in one! an there's more coming!

if you dont have something good to say, better shut up!!!

BlackBerry 10 will be awesome!!! really good looking software and very promising!!!

but wishing that BB10 wont take a long time booting up!! this is also the main concern on PlayBook.. it boot up so slow..

BlackBerry 10 will change BB for the awesomess better!

BB10 looks promising but they have to get the basics right. Not only that butt app support and ecosystem integration with a full OS like Windows, Mac, etc will also play a key role....
and enough with the teasers, I hope it doesn't beome a case of too much hype about nothing...so just release it already before people have spent their money on an android flagship, iphone or the newly launched WP models

I have come to relise that new comers are not favoured in this OS race. Google is making it hard for them to catch up. Android is so feature rich it makes other OSs efforts appear normal. The platform has been widely adapted,i believe soon pcs will start ranning on androids.lol

actually no... BB10 is also feature-rich! its actually par to android's ecosystem coz of its ability to run android apps! so if people could just realize that, BB10 will be next to android!

and devs dont need to re-write their apps for BB10, they just need to copy and paste it! and submit it to app world!

just be positive and everything will be ok!

ikr?! yeah... even though a lot of people keep on saying that BB10 is "yay or nay" but i have faith in the platform! its very comparable to all OS right now! and people need choices! a very capable platform! very good answer to the need of people even though people keep on saying that "BlackBerry is DEAD" but i have faith! and positive thoughts that BB10 is incredible (even on alpha stage) thats why im really looking forward for this OS! and the hardware RIM's going to use!
