ok where the hell have you been for the last 5 years??? ok t-mo is gonna have 4 android phones by christmas they had the behold, which sold over 5 million units and they have good phones. they are fast, reliable, and the 3G coverage is fast and actually reliable unlike at t. and to prove it, at t had to / wil release that 3G signal amplifier to make the signal what it already should be.

I wonder if this has anything to do with a possible partnership/merger with another carrier, say Sprint perhaps?

16. behold--me posted on 08 Oct 2009, 20:53

horrible idea. t-mobile can become about 80 million strong in the network if they bought out sprint, but they would be shooting themselves in the foot with that. Because thats integrating GSM, sprint's network, and i think one other one. Expanding business and total bankruptcy with it? i don't think so.....

as a sprint customer this project black thing drives fear into my heart. but hopefully by december or so I'll switch to them (need GSM networking)

7. jamess661 posted on 07 Oct 2009, 21:08

Sprint better not have nothing to do with this i hope not cause this will suck. Sprint please dont no no no not t mobile oh god where have i went wrong this has got to be about something else right people?

^^^^Double negative

9. remixfa posted on 08 Oct 2009, 09:09

i really dont understand anyone believing that sprint ant Tmobile will merge. Even if they were the same type of technology, sprint is so bad off, its not worth buying, otherwise im sure VZW would have by now. Its easier to let them sink and just absorb new customers. If tmobile bought sprint, you would have 2 networks on different technology not compatable w/ eachother. you would have to either shut down one network and force everyone to switch, or end up in the same nasty mess sprint is already in with nextel... which is one of the big reasons why they are in so much trouble to begin with.

13. JeffdaBeat posted on 08 Oct 2009, 17:55

Not exactly. Verizon made that huge purchase of Alltel and they don't exactly have enough money to buy both Sprint along with the debt that Sprint has. Verizon may have an absolute ton of customers, but they also shell out a lot of money to maintain that network in addition to trying to pay off that debt.

It would be good if they did their service is better than Sprint no signal here w/ them. But could it be the iPhone.

Very interesting, "the mysterious sounding name is supposed to be something so enormous in reach that it is expected to lift T-Mobile out of 4th place among the nation's wireless operators". What could be that big a merger, a shocking announcement of the iPhone or something better? Better be good because it's building up suspense.

Amazing that the side kick system is down and side kicks are out of stock on the tmobile site, while project black is in the works.
