Best smartphone camera photos #74
We're back with the 74th post in our special photographic-centric series where we present you with a number of awesome images taken by... well, you (and your cell phones).
So, which picture did you like most last time? The answer is Jonas Maciulskis's photo, taken with the Nokia N95 8GB. And a pretty well-deserved first place it is, we should say!
Of course, there are many other incredible images left to be seen. Let's continue with another set of 10 pics, each of which can easily convince even the most professionally-inclined photographer that cell phones are more than a toy in the camera department.
Please note that if your own awesome image is not included here, this doesn't mean that it won't end up on the site. We simply might not have gotten to it yet! So, we urge you to continue following us, as we'll be publishing more of these truly great photos in the following days and weeks.
We'd also like to remind you that you can continue submitting your cool cell phone pics to the following email address:
In order to not miss on all the glory, you also have to mention your name/nickname, as well as the phone you used to take the shots. A nice additional piece of info would be a name or a short description for the image.
With that, we now leave you with our 74th set of favorite photos...

I can imagine some people vote for smartphone used to take this pic not pic itself.

Number 1 looks motion blurred and soft, so technically it's just being at the right spot at right moment with a not-so-good Cameraphone. But it still looks better than the remaining images.

Is Number 1 Photoshopped? Really cool pic either way, just don\'t know if it is or if that\'s allowed here.

While i like the picture, I don\'t think 1 is unedited... The moon cannot have that much luminance and less noise when taken by a cameraphone like the Nexus 4. I would\'ve believed the image to be true if it was taken by a camera centric phone.

what makes me agree is the amount of noise in the foreground. ive seen focus in the background but not for an object that isn't in the atmosphere.

It isn't the moon, it is lightning in a cloud

Hello PhoneArena viewers, this is Ahmad Sawalha owner of the first image. Follow me on Instagram @Nexus4Matic if you don\'t believe me, I posted the image on there 17 weeks ago. It was taken on my Nexus 4 with the HDR setting on and it is NOT edited! It was a stormy day with a lot of lightning and I just so happen to catch the photo at just the right time! Thank you for all the votes; Nexus 5 owner soon to be!

Ahh I figured lightning might have something to do with it, but HDR explains the almost negative film look of the cloud. Well, thank you for informing us because I was reserving my vote in case it was a legit pic, so you now have my vote!
