This year’s CES event has come and gone, and we have to say the companies didn’t really shower us with new phones. Still, we learned some quite interesting stuff at the show…

I think CES '10 for the mobile world was a taste of what's to come at MWC next month. I mean, we basically only got a tease of future happenings in the mobile world and some new phones that are basically coming out next week- not literally. So, I guess it was good in the sense that it shows big things are happening or about to happen in the industry, but it left me unsatisfied =/

booo @ sprint @ ces they sucked this year and I think they know it . Everyone else showed off awesome phones and sprint customers got the lotus elite and rumor touch BOOO we were hoping for the htc hd2 or something similar. Why does sprint fail its customers so? I am so tempted to go to tmobile just for the htc hd2 their service sucks but man I want that phone.

I agree..sprint should really step up its game by putting out more better phones they already have good plans and service they just need alot better phones. everyone else brought out some really impressive phones this past year and sprint barely put out anything i just hope that this year is alot better or they just might as well watch alot of there customers leaving to other carriers..

Sprint will loose a lot off customers this year. I want the htc hd2 but it not coming to sprint but I'm goin to wait to see if sprint gonna get a 1gz phone from htc later this year. I love their plans and service I been with them goin on 14 years. But they need to step their game up when it comes to the lack of phones.

I think the Palm C40 gonna be a monster phone I can't wait to hear more on it and hopefully see it. And the wimax phones I'm dyn to see them. I think sprints 4g network gonna allow surfn the web and talk at the same time and killer web brown speeds and downloads.

Yeah Sprint didnt show off a good phones, well I'll just wait within these months for something and more over the mentioned new HTC phone. What I want to think that Sprint wont make the same mistake that they made at the CES 09 when they released the Palm Pre,so the only thing I hope is "MORE PHONES" that 's what I wish for. Also EVERY YEAR I hear " Sprint its loosing a lot customers" but does anybody know how much new customers does Sprint make every year , oh yes no. And I being hearing this since like 5 years ago, this type of comment come from haters. So next time if you're going to curse Sprint phone line up please mention first "I hate Sprint" then comment. (IM NOT A SPRINT ADVOCATE, only I dont like type of comments (on every wireless subject) because only haters & ifanboys make these types of comments.)

Tmo for me had perfect coverage and voice clarity. I am with sprint now though hence I use webOS.

The highlight of the show for the mobile community would have been the Nexus One, but that was announced at a self-initiated Google press conference ahead of time. In reality, the conference was a dud as everything else was crap. When is MWC?
8. Hlorri posted on 12 Jan 2010, 16:26 0 0
MWC? You mean the place where Nokia acknowledge "leaks" about what they announced in Singapore two days earlier? Or the place where Motorola say the world is changing, then show up with another RAZR rehash? One of the many places where there is no trace of Apple, RIM, or Google? Yeah - that will be REAL exciting. :-/

YES SPRINT DID DISAPPOINT ME AT THE CES 2010. I SURE HOPE THAT BEFORE JUNE THEY COME UP WITH SOMETHING SPECTACULAR OR I WILL BE FORCED TO SWITCH CARRIERS.

They have webOS and you would switch carriers...? Dude, switch anyway cause your too stupid to have their service.
