It would have come in handy finding my way through campus last night, as I got lost looking for my car at the end of the night.

OK these sound great, but, how do they transfer the info from the phone? Are you paying for a continuous phone call or SMS call ? It could turn out to be very expensive if so.

I have downloaded another app "RapidTracker"-- Best app for family, friends tacking with GEO location, photo-checkin features. I like this app.

There are a new innovative application for tracking and keep contact with people. He's Ofollowme (she is about following). Just tape "Ofollowme" on Google Play search and try it. It's very good

Scary and Intrusive.

The permissions required by many of these applications are scary. Some of the vendors don't even have a privacy policy. They can make calls, take pictures, rifle through your contacts and calendar events. These permissions are unnecessary.

Check out GPS Tracker Ultimate - Coooeee
Coooeee has more features than any other app on the market and is free for basic use. As well as tracking friends & family, using their devices with Coooeee installed, it can also track personal GPS Trackers. Coooeee currently supports the TK10x range but can easily be extended to support any tracker that is configurable to send its data to our servers. There is a small cost for using your own tracker with Coooeee of just £10 for 3 months, which is far less than any other competitor. With Coooeee you can easily create, update, remove zones. You can even apply zones to all friends & family, individuals or groups. It is a very full featured app. Currently it is available for Android and will soon be available on iPhone.

I think Ghostrack is the best android app for GPS tracking. It doesn't even require data plan or internet connection in the tracking end. Small app so will consume a small amount of memory and ram of your phone. Its free now in Google play store. I think you all should try it for once. Worthy of downloading trust me.
