With hundreds of millions of people in its user database, Twitter is still among the most popular social networks out there. It is a great place to share thoughts and emotions with the world, 140 characters at a time, but it is also a powerful platform for following trends and current events. Of course, there's a Twitter app as well, available on a number of popular mobile platforms. However, it isn't the only app that lets you keep an eye on your Twitter feed while on the go...

Fenix for Twitter is the best android twitter app. It's in beta so google it.

Another bonus of Talon is colored emojis below 4.4! However, it's pretty expensive and was a little to different from the regular layout for me.

Not to mention it wastes so much precious space by displaying Avatars on the left side throughout. Its good for tablet though.

I use Seesmic. It allows me to put a shortcut to a Twitter list on my home screen.
