So in order to get a decent tablet, I need to buy a horrible HP or Compaq computer? No thanks, I rather just use that money and get a Kindle Fire.

So the one touchpad I ordered back in August finally came (no, I was not one of the idiots who bought 30 hoping to resell them on Ebay). Sure, it was only 149.99, but let's just say I'm very underwhelmed. I am NOT a Apple fanboy by any means, but my brother's ipad 2 destroys this thing in every way. Spec wise maybe not, but usability and features, absolutely. If you didn't manage to snag one at the fire sale price, don't get so bummed about it. In less than a year higher spec'd tablets will be out for a price that probably mirrors what these were. The ipads will remain the golden ticket for tablet buyers, so all the other manufacturers will have to wage war with the only way they can compete against the ipad, price. I feel very sorry for anyone who ever bought a touchpad when its price was similar to an ipad. Whoever thought it could match it (and get consumers to buy it) was seriously living in a dream world.

No wonder Best Buy is on verge of going out of business.
