According to tipsters for Engadget, Best Buy has decided against offering the heavily discounted webOS flavored HP TouchPad in its U.S. stores and is shipping the tablet back to HP instead; those who paid pre-fire sale prices for the tablet will get back the difference from the Palo Alto based firm...

Two of my local best Buys here in Salt Lake are now selling their Touchpads. One even let me buy it over the phone

Looks like Costco returned them as well they have none at my local store they had a bunch just a couple days ago!

I am a Best Buy employee and can confirm that they ARE being sold as of this afternoon. Management was told to take them off the shelves but are now available again. The exact reason, I'm not sure, but right before leaving my shift today it was bats**t crazy in the tablet section because everyone was trying to get their hands on one.

Also, they are NOT price matching if you've already purchased one. They are allowing full refunds from the past 60 days, however.
