They've been Free and $49.99 for Upgrades at Costco for 3 weeks. Best Buy makes news with this how?

Actually, the Z10 was only $49.99 since before the Q10 launched (sometime in May at Costco, I believe).

Nonmembers still may be able to purchase it online. The regular costco.com site didn't require a membership. This may be also true for the members' wireless site. To find out if this has changed would not take long (nor cost anything).

Um.

Yeah.

This has been going all week, and will likely end tomorrow.

For the record, in between sales the phone's been 199.99 at Best Buy.

Yeah... It's really just a sale to move more devices. Other handsets go on sale all of the time. Not just BlackBerry. PA is just trying to do what they've been doing since BB10 launched... Make BB look bad. WP handsets go on sale all of the time. So do Android handsets. Don't see it making the news.

The Z10 is a decent phone but I traded mine in while I was still on the T-Mobile grace period. I really liked it particularly the Blackberry Hub, however, the app selection (or lack thereof) is a problem and in the wake of recent headlines, I don't see developers chomping at the bit to add to the BB10 catalog. I got a Galaxy S4 instead.

Being a Windowsphone fan from the very beginning I know what BB fans are going through... Things are going good for WP now, but it has taken some time, and patients, and has paid off heavily for the WP community.. So, BB fans are just going to have to hang in there and not give up❕... I hope BBxx is a complete success... And, to iDroid fans who are on a high horse, and wish that BB fails remember that the taller you are, the harder you fall.. Nobody stays on top forever❕... I mean look at the first generation WP devices, and then look at the Nokia Lumia 920 being named 2012 smartphone of the year... Most likely another WP device will be 2013 SPOTY,, the Nokia Lumia 1020... So, if WP can do it, then BB can to❕❕... I hope they try as hard as Microkia has.
