What could be more exciting than a benchmark comparison starring six of the best smartphones in the world?! Well, a lot of things, probably... but NOT when one of these smartphones is the one and only Galaxy S4! It's not really a secret that the GS4 is an amazing performer when it comes to benchmarks, but hey, it never hurts to give some perspective to its scores by comparing it to more and more Android smartphones. That's exactly what we've done here, so behold – the Galaxy S4 torches those benchmarks alongside the GS III, Note 2, Optimus G Pro, Nexus 4, and its biggest rival, the HTC One...

I never thought I would say this but I think performace tests are now kind of useless.
The reason I say this is because all flagship devices are pretty damn good. There will be differences but when it comes to the average user it wont be noticeable. For example, the difference in the Quadrant scores between the One and S4. I mean really? Furthermore, every flahship device is coming out with a quad or octo core processor! Which is bananas if you really think about a mobile device with that much power. Do you remember when the HTC Evo shocked the world with a 1Ghz processor? That was sick for a phone to have that kind of power...and that was not too long ago.
unless you are super into figures and bragging about a few performance points here and there I dont think people should be putting too much emphasis on these scores. I can safely say that Im done checking out these types of scores going forward.
**Note: my comment pertains to flagship devices

How is this working... You guys are on websites doing reviews and taking Galaxy S4 out and testing? I mean the phone is not even released yet! :-s
