Benchmark comparison: Galaxy S4 vs Galaxy S III vs Note 2 vs Optimus G Pro vs Nexus 4 vs HTC One

0. phoneArena 04 Apr 2013, 09:37 posted on

What could be more exciting than a benchmark comparison starring six of the best smartphones in the world?! Well, a lot of things, probably... but NOT when one of these smartphones is the one and only Galaxy S4! It's not really a secret that the GS4 is an amazing performer when it comes to benchmarks, but hey, it never hurts to give some perspective to its scores by comparing it to more and more Android smartphones. That's exactly what we've done here, so behold – the Galaxy S4 torches those benchmarks alongside the GS III, Note 2, Optimus G Pro, Nexus 4, and its biggest rival, the HTC One...

True and I think gs4 will perform much more better than other competitors(HTC one) despite of these competitive benchmarks with HTC..

I expect so... My doubt is that with gazillion of sensors and a 1080p display which consumes the battery juice 8 times faster than other LCD displays while showing white colors, will it last long enough for a day? ... lets hope it performs well...

You can see the battery review of s4 on gsmarena.. Its best compared to all.. But HTC one wins in Web browsing category by small margin..

benchmark aren't everything? Are you sourgraping? enjoy your inferior HTC one...

they set the display of the both phones to maximum brightness while running web browsing tests. If you see the display review of s4 on gsmarena, you will know that 70% of brightness level of HTC One equals the 100% brightness of S4. That's an unfair advantage given to galaxy s4 over HTC One. So, In real world usage the battery performance of HTC one will be so much better!!

and again, cheap plastic.. can u educate urself that polycarbonate is better than aluminum and glass (coz sapphire isnt yet available in handsets)!!,
hatred really starts to bloom so humongous after losing smartphone battles in reviews,,

I dont have a HTC one to enjoy, and i dont support htc One you $tup!d troll. If you ask any tech nerd they will tell you that a under clocked single core Windows phone(with a poor benchmark score of course) will perform so much smoother than a higher clocker dual core android counterparts. Its all about optimization now...

Okay.. I didn't think that way though.. I got your point but I won't judge until I check both by myself..your point is creditable :).. But still carrying an extra battery for s4 may not be much heavy for many users..

I prefer s4 because I believe that Samsung has optimized it very well.. And I doubt HTC one in this department.. But who knows things can be opposite than what I feel..

Not to mention its expandable memory storage, latest jelly bean, etc.. S4 is a great device... My point was it should not only be judged by some artificial benchmarks..

you have to look to all aspects before claiming that S4 is the king.

This is just a gross result, please ask pa to trim away all the ui in every phone and make it stock android and see, galaxy s4 for sure will crush HTC one and nexus 4!!!

In use no different btw s4 and one speed..both are great with no lag but why one is better:
-u can feel clear a solid phone when take it.
-u can feel clear sound when call with one
-u can feel reality color when see In lcd3
–u can feel a diamond technology and elegant when use sense 5
-u can feel best hdr recording with perfect sound
-u can feel that a in your hand when see one's design with perfect body
-u can feel bombastic sound when turn on its speaker

One all the way.

Just make sure you don't drop your "solid" phone. LMAO!
Also natural colours is no longer an issue on SuperAMOLED.(http://blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-galaxy-s4-vs-htc-one-vs-apple-iphone-5-display-test-confirms-amoleds-can-finally-do-accurate-colors/)

"Never trust reviews from professional tech websites that say that my favourite brands aren't the best! 'coz they are biased! My fav brands are always the best, no matter what!" Right?

Typical fanboy's behaviour!
