Not too long ago, BlackBerry announced BlackBerry 10.1, the first update for the company's new OS, and it has only been in the hands of users for a couple weeks now. But, that doesn't mean we can't keep looking ahead to the future. BlackBerry Product Manager, Michael Clewley has announced a few of the features that users can look forward to in BlackBerry 10.2, which should be released later in the year...

ohh dear, these are quite basic features, they have a long way to catch up. Once BBM is on Android and iOS, im wondering how much more sales blackberry would make

What??? BB didn't support multiple alarms???? I would understand for emojis but alarms and reminders?? This is very important for me and I believe this is more important for business/corporate people.

BB7 had this. BB10 is brand new and built on completely different code.

More reason to see where BB10 ends up a year of so. It is a fun, unique OS. It is just where it ends up and how well it is supported.

I love my Z10. The hardware could be better, but the OS is great. Rocking 10.1.0.1880 (Gonna put 1916 on tonight), and it just keeps on getting better.

People keep knocking Blackberry but when Windows Phone came out everyone said it wouldn't last now look it has more sales it just takes more time to excel in the market, I think Blackberry will beat Windows phone soon after the Q10 is out in the U.S and updates become more firm

Actually, BB10 supports multiple alarms. They just aren't located with the clock. If you set multiple dates and times on your calendar, then your phone will notify you. People would go to the clock and naturally expect multiple alarms to be available. I can set as many reminders or notifications I want through my calendar.

Apiskula, perhaps, if you could explain your perspective of why "Blackberry sucks" by using evidenced-based facts and experiences, instead of childish diatribe and innuendo, people would listen. Otherwise, I will quote a movie I enjoy, "Aristophanes once wrote, roughly translated; "Youth ages, immaturity is outgrown, ignorance can be educated, and drunkenness sobered, but STUPID lasts forever."
Maintain your avenue of commentary and I believe my quote will become true.

I really want to love my new blackberry z10 but the battery dont last more than 10 hours, problems switching between wifi and mobile data (turning off wifi and turning on mobile data takes time to the telephone to activate the mobile data), sometimes i see that the mobile data or wifi are not working, the maps sucks, sometimes the screen freezes...... its really frustating
If those everyday important KEY issues are not solved with the 10.1, i am selling this phone as soon as i can!. I cant believe that a "flagship phone cant give me all these important things." i miss my gs3
I just dont understand these blackberry die hard fans (you are receiving s**t!), now i understand why they are about to die
My last 5 phones last to least.
Z10 Frustrating as hell! Beautiful and Amazing OS
GS3 The best bar phone ever battery last the whole day
Xperia S uncomfortable and baterry drains
Blackberry 9900 Rock Solid
Blackberry 9700 Nice phone

I loaded the leaked version onto my Z10. No problems. I had no problems before tI loaded the update. My wife has had no issues w/ her Z10. She has the older update, at this time. If you haven't visited, which I'm sure you have, Crackberry, there is a lot of info that may help.
